The Margaret Harwell Art Museum received entries for this year's competition from local photographers of all ages within a 100 mile radius of Poplar Bluff. The exhibition was judged by Robin Coats from Coats Photography.
The following photographers have been selected as winners in each division.
Byron Beck has been awarded the Grand Prize Purchase Award for his photograph "Sheng Music."
Patriotic Award: Chloe Sisk of Poplar Bluff for "U. S. Marine Corps Memorial"
Architecture Award: Larry Braun of Benton for "Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge"
Selfie Award: Daniel Allison of Poplar Bluff for "Peek-a-Blues"
Cutest Pet Award: Kim White of Williamsville for "Waiting on the Clydesdales"
Special Technique Award: James Ramsey for "Ward Speed"
Black and White Award: James Sisk of Poplar Bluff for "Through the Smoke"
Financial assistance for this exhibit has been provided by Minit Print Inc. and the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
The museum is open noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1 – 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The museum is physically impaired accessible. Admission is free.
